The Last Three

In most races the focus and the pictures  is usually on the winners.  For a change I thought I would feature an image of those in last place. 

These three ladies were competing in my running club's "Not The New Years 10km", so called because for this year it had to be held on 2 Jan not 1 Jan. 
This shot is at around 6km and they were walk/jogging ("Jeffing" I think it is called).  The chap in the yellow top is one of our members who volunteered to accompany the last runners to encourage them and boost their confidence if they are flagging. I was marshalling as usual and had to balance guiding traffic (it was quiet thankfully) with sneaking the odd pic. Well done ladies!!
