is still outside the kirk, despite the melting of much of the snow cover at low levels. Plenty remains on the tops, although the Cromdales here are looking a little sparse, but they are less than 1000m. The river and burns are full of melt water. The sun came out later in the day and it was really pleasant, although there are still ice patches, so must stay alert.
