Preston Station

An unexpected mad dash down the M6 to Preston Station when my train from the Lake District was cancelled this morning.  Yes I know its a strike day and we'd been told not to travel but Mum in Worthing Hospital needs a bag of stuff. 
We had to go back home and collect the petrol Panda because the electric Kia did not have enough juice for a round trip to Preston.   We are learning the disadvantages of electric cars.  Unexpected long trips at short notice and the car's not fully charged. 
Oh Goodness, it's a Blip anniversary. Sorry I've had other things on my mind and it's sneaked up A huge thank you to all who visit and comment and make this such a rewarding community.
