Not long ago, there was no water at all on this side of our small causeway; the other day we saw Ciganos fishing here. Still gratefully relieved for every drop of rain.

Ermelinda's Dad survived the op, but has now taken a turn for the worse. She and her Mum are at the hospital in Évora. She said she was desolated. We wait and pray...

Gratefuls:
- another beautiful day, with a misty start
- Julia managing to talk to a GP about Eden's cough, and being reassured she's OK
- warmth indoors, so grateful for this
