Dipper in Song

Trundling down to the forest with a few things in mind I headed eventually to my dipper brook after having had a no go trying to get the hawfinches earlier. 

Any movement on the bank spooked them but I kept at it, hiding behind trees and scrub till... in the overflowing water, with his mind not on predators I could creep up and catch a few shots. I do love them. I like this particular photo because if you look closely you can see his tongue which you don't often get in shot as he was singing or calling but it worked for me.
