One of those days

Cloud stuck on the hills.

We went to the bakers but avoided any further shopping. We are doing well using up what we have in the fridge and the cupboards. I am pleased to report very little has gone to waste.

I walked around the local streets and back through the park and got a good recording of Mistle Thrush singing.

Mandarin and Tufted Ducks with the usual suspects in the park.

I was remembering it is 5 years tonight that Dad died.  Time that has passed too quickly.

I am continuing to read Val McDermid’s short stories but also catching up with radio dramas.  A surprise is the newly written Miss Marple stories using Agatha Christies characters are very good.

Not today but recently we listened to The Signalman. Sam West is the terrified man in this well produced Charles Dickens Ghost Story. Recommended it was originally on Radio4 Christmas Day 3:15
