Don't mind if I do!

Colin was on dinner duty tonight and our fruit and meringue was almost to good to eat.
I've had an interesting day today. I was called at 8.30 by the garage my car is going to tomorrow for its estimate after someone bumped it a couple of weeks ago. Just to check I was still going. I was polite.
Met up with a friend in Stockbridge this afternoon who is just back from India. Good to have a catch up. Her visits are unconnected to mine, yet ridiculously, and quite independently we have close mutual friends there. Her friend, who lives in Chennai, being the brother of someone I would call one of my best friends, and lives 400 miles away in Tirunelveli. The world is very small.
We were watching Michael Portillo tonight in an area I know quite well around Agra and Jaipur. He visited somewhere we have been to, the Abhaneri Step Well. It is quite fascinating architecture going 13 storeys downwards into the ground to source water in the middle of an arid desert. It really is in almost the middle of nowhere and over 1000 years old.
