Monkeys wedding

A popular SA expression when the sun is out but it’s raining at the same time.

I drove to work in a torrential downpour so bad that I had to pull over a couple of times as the visibility was shocking. Added to that, almost instantaneous flooding meant avoiding hidden potholes made for a 30 minute drive. Not great when it was just over 6km.

More of the same throughout the day but the sun emerged just in time for Shiv’s outing but we got home just in time for this strange combination to present itself.

And tomorrow is forecast for more of the same, with stage 4 load shedding, oh joy!
