2023 Thursday — After the Storm

Last night’s storm was horrendous! Sleep was somewhat restless. The electricity was out between 1:30 and 2:00 and in case I missed that, PG&E phoned to tell me it was out; then they phoned to tell me it was back on. Thankfully my phone is silenced at night; sigh!

Our house was power washed throughout the night as rain was blown hard and sideways against every outside wall. Rain pounded our windows. It poured cats & dogs. We now have five new dogs and a couple stray cats (I’m kidding about the animals).

We are, though, so thankful for the water. Mr. Fun went with me this morning to see the stormy ocean up close. It’s a bit scary.
