6/365. Snowdrops
It's that time of year isn't it, when winter flowers start appearing after lying dormant underground for the last eleven months or so.
This small clump grow by a bridge over a stream which runs alongside Talton Lodge just up the road from where we live. The stream continues it's journey into, and feeding, a small ornamental waterway/lake in the grounds of Talton House.
The grounds there also have a veritable carpet of snowdrops amongst a small wooded area but they come out a week or so later than the ones in my photo. It's also a shaded area and if you go too late in the day or when there isn't any sunshine then taking pictures of them can be challenging.
Wishing everyone a very nice weekend and yes, a big thank you to all who have viewed my blip entries and made such nice comments or sprinkled likes and even some hearts on them. So grateful to you. xx
