Great Tit

A sunny afternoon for a walk at RSPB Lochwinnoch.
We didn’t see anything unusual but a few people had seen a male Smew which is a very rare visitor. A white blob at the other side of the loch was pointed out to us but it was so far away I couldn’t possibly say I have seen one, I had not even heard of one before today!
At home, I have seen a Redpoll on the bird feeder twice this week which is very exciting, I have yet to get a decent picture of it but am including one taken through the kitchen window as an extra for my records.
