Birthday Time!

Up early, open
presents. Tram trip and cafe.
Woods and blow candles.

Birthday has been a success.  He's happy with his presents.  Mainly the purple wheelie suitcase he asked for and a first aid kit. You've got to love the quirks.  We walked to the tram and had a trip to Caffè Nero and he had some Pepsi Max and a sausage sandwich whilst he did a crossword.  There was nearly a 'thing' because he'd wanted Diet Coke and they didn't have any and he'd wanted a real sausage sandwich and they only had plant based sausage.  But he worked through it and actually decided the plant based one was nicer than the ordinary one and the Pepsi max was acceptable.  Phew.  We came home and he asked for a walk in the woods which I enjoyed except he was talking about how if he was in charge he'd create a giant robot to clear the trees and sticks and put down concrete to make a flat area for him to build a giant police station :-/  I was not in favour.  But hey, it is his birthday!
Then there's been party tea and birthday cake, all very satisfactory.  He was up at 4:40am so hopefully he'll sleep tonight!
Extra is how happy he was as the tram pulled in to the station on the way to the cafe, he's so precious (sometimes..) :-D
