Friday: Brassicas, Kindling & Salad Leaves

When I went out to fill the bird feeders the weather was mild and I thought it was time to pot up some of the Spring bulbs - crocus, daffodils, tulips and alliums and the other half of the Onion sets from Stermat - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3040011950105821248
Over Winter I’ll be pruning many of the garden shrubs keeping any long straight branches to use as support for peas and beans, if I’m lucky these branches can be used for a few years and many can then be used as kindling in the log burner too! Salad leaves still growing well in the greenhouse: mixed lettuce, red & green baby chicory, baby kale, American land cress, perpetual spinach and common sorrel - all very tasty :-)
Wishing everyone a Happy Weekend :-)) xxxx xxx xx
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
