River of Flowers

By doffy

Saturday: Primroses

Light northeasterly breeze, temperature around 7°C, bright sunshine and short showers - a mixed weather day!

Rested all morning because the last few days have left me feeling exhausted.

Didn’t do much this afternoon either, the air outside is quite chilly  - reading the fascinating book in yesterday’s Blip. Lit the log burner just before 4pm, then lounged on the settee watching the sun setting opposite our window and the little birds eating their supper of sunflower hearts :-))

Primroses have been battered by the wind and rain but will spring into life with new flowers in a few weeks time!

ADDED LATER: MrD and I watched 4 episodes of “Fool me Once” on Netflix, there’s a lot of going back to past events and lots of complicated family sub-plots, but it’s interesting enough to continue with …
We also watched “Siân Phillips” on S4C, she is 90yrs old and still amazing!!

Love and hugs to all my family XXXX XXX XX
