A Walk in the Rain

It was gum boots, storm coat and umbrella for me early this morning. Maisie and I started out in heavy rain. I met Allan, one of my favourite dog-walker friends at the start of his walk. Then we met up again towards the end of his walk. The rain was still heavy but it wasn’t cold. Allan and his dog Blaze walk every day; invariably, as I do, early in the morning. I admire his effort and dedication. He walks in all weathers throughout the year. This morning he quipped “ This takes me back to my childhood…… splashing through puddles. “. Keep on keeping on Allan. You are an inspiration.
