She’s almost past her best…..

Recent rain and today’s boisterous, cold wind have not prevented my Margaret Merrill rose from becoming old before her time….She has a lovely fragrance. I pruned the bush really hard a few months ago. I thought I might of killed her but she eventually bounced back in good health.
I suppose it’s strange of me to refer to the rose as a female. But Margaret Merrill definitely is a gracious lady…. Arohanui.
