This and that

Today seemed to last a very long time.  The weather was so mild that I put Candy in the garden for a couple of hours while I cleaned her cage. Other than that, and an hour's visit from bro for a cuppa, the whole day and evening was spent moving between continuing to take down and pack up all the Christmas decorations started last night and the impossible jigsaw on loan from Charlotte that Robin and I didn't manage to finish before she left to go back to Baku yesterday, with entertainment provided by playing some music I haven't listened to for year and/or half watching TV.  This included watched a documentary about London's underground system. Who knew this could be such an interesting topic for a program? Oh, and 'Phil-the-builder' called to look at some jobs around the homestead that I want/need to be done. As we haven't seen each other for 3+ years, we had quite the catch up chat too!!

It always seems a pity to take down the decorations so I took photos of just some of them, as well as a pic of jigsaw progress to send Robin and a pic of Candy in the garden to send to my brother as Candy does officially belong to him. together they make a narrative collage for my day.
