Sitting out loadshedding

A bit of a later than normal start for us after only getting to bed after midnight.

I was in the shower when the lights went out at midnight, our first two and a bit hour session.

Arnie missed the opportunity for toast for breakfast, as the power was off for two and a half hours from 08:00, and Soul had to reorganize his normal lawn mowing routine, our second session.

We whiled away the late afternoon in the garden, enjoying a beer and a couple of games from four until 18:30, thankfully our last session for the day, until more of the same tomorrow.

Our solar solution is due to be installed on the 19th, it can’t arrive soon enough.
