The Feast Day of the Baptism of Our Lord Jesus.
This Sunday is 5c, changeable light levels, and the air feels damp. Rain due after 5pm. I feel sorry for the poor starlings as they sit on roofs and then fly to and fro in a big family.
I miss buying a Sunday newspaper but we are trying to minimise environmental impact.
Generally, we recycle paper, card, plastic and glass and the Council collection calendar is a helpful reminder for when to put the correct free recycling bin out for emptying.
I am crocheting burgundy hand warmers and watching We Bought a Zoo. It is ace.
Tigers are my favourite big feline.
Lions are awesome also.
