Two swans on the Leeds Liverpool canal.

The Feast Day of St. Fillan.
After sorting out the washing and cleaning, I wrapped up well and went out for a lovely walk to the canal and round a favourite route of mine called Petre Crescent, where there are modern houses, some of which overlook the canal.
It was a good thing to see a red narrowboat called Billy Whizz. The Elsie a blue narrowboat, was still moored up in the same place near the Canal side cafe.
I was delighted to capture this paIr of elegant swans. There were a few dog walkers in the distance near High Street bridge. It is 5c and the wind chill is bitterly cold. The air is damp and fresh and it could rain later in the afternoon.
Our new bookcase and cabinet was delivered this morning. It looks good in the froint room. It could be a future blipfoto.
