The Calm Berfore The Storm

Tonight we are celebrating our last night alone before the kids start coming back from college, Nick tomorrow, Kate on Monday. It hardly seems like yesterday that we were gleefully waving them off.

We were smart enough yesterday not to try and fight the Mothers Day restaurant crowds. Our waitress, who had hardly any voice left , said that yesterday was crazy without any chance for a break for her whole shift. I hope her tips made up for it.

Anyway, tonights dinner was delicious as always at Mangia e Bevi and the almosphere was serene and calm.

The "calm before the storm" for us, I'm sure.
