Sausage Sandwich For Mother's Day Lunch

Today is Mother's Day in America. I was expecting a quiet day as Maryland Universities don't build their breaks around the Hallmark calendar. Then the daughter showed up unexpectedly and surprised me!

This is what we had for lunch... Foccaccia (or is it ciabatta) with a BBQ'd Lincolnshire sausage and ketchup on it. Delicious!

Skyped my Mum in England this afternoon and got a facebook greeting from the son who is in the middle of finals.

All in all an excellent day :)
