The current Mrs Creel is still operating her hot shot service throughout the Mainland parishes.
 
An extract from my 1974 diary from tells me I got into a taxi at Aberdeen Station and had to inform the driver I’d found a cucumber in the back seat.  He advised me to move to the front.  The next day I was along at Pittodrie watching the Dons beat Killie 4-0.  Jarvie and Bumper Graham were amongst the scorers. 
 
My spiritual adviser, Bathsheba, is guiding me through problems with my downpipe.
 
A curtain of rain is swishing in fae the west, the stove is on.  It’s going to be a long night.
