Free

... pigeons for Mono Monday, when the theme is nine or free. So I've gone for 'free', its being one 'fird' of nine! Here my original photo (see Extras) is inverted and then colour-tweaked. Thanks to Skeena for hosting the challenge.

Took the photo this morning before going out for the day with Mrs B and the children. It's the first time our daughter's taken both children out shopping in the car without their dad, so quite daunting. Mrs B Snr (our son-in-law's mum) joined us for lunch. LMB was in her element having TWO grannies! (She always likes it when she has both of us at once.) The Young Master took turns with us, or we with him. And our daughter actually managed to buy a pair of ankle boots. Phew! Quite an achievement! One forgets what a big thing such an outing is in the early days - though, incredibly, TYM is eight weeks old today, and already has outgrown the New Baby size of clothes. They will be passed on to others and/or to charity shops. Even hand-me-downs from Mrs B's friends are still in good condition.

It's been a beautiful day to look at, but the wind was bitter!
