TUBING down the Mekong river

Cheating slightly as this picture isn't from today. It was the 14th at the blue lagoon. Sadly didn't get any pictures of the tubing as don't have a waterproof camera.
We got up rather late and went and had street food brunch! Baguette and shake. Ben the Australian guy we met the night before ate with us. All 6 of us and Ben took a tuktuk to the river to start the tubing. It was a lot of fun. We stopped of at the first bar which apparently is the best one, would definitely agree. There were beer pong tables, pingpong, basketball, volleyball and when you bought drinks you get masses of free bracelets! Met masses of people we had met the night before and from Luang Prabang, Pai...etc! We then skipped the second bar and tubbed to the third bar. Didn't stay long as we wanted to get our deposit back so got tubbing again! We met 4 cool guys whilst tubbing the last bit. Ben, George, Will and Will. All of us got a cheap tuktuk. The 4 guys were so mean to the tuktuk man but it was rather funny. We got out deposit back just!
The 6 of us (girls) went to the Irish bar and we all got a burger! We then went to a different restaurant and got some shakes. After that me, Lotte and Annie (the others went to bed) walked around for rather along time until we bumped into the 4 guys again and we headed to fat monkeys. It was a lot of fun. We got caught in the monsoon on our way back to our hostel. We also kept the poor lady awake that was sleeping in the reception for a good hour chatting.
