Little boy running behind a tuktuk
We all had a rather late morning! We went and got our cheese, bacon and chicken baguette for a picnic at the blue lagoon later that day. We met the 4 guys, 2 Wills, Ben and George at our hostel and all shared a tuktuk to the blue lagoon. We got a very good deal with the tuktuk but he forgot to mention that we had to pay to cross a bridge!
The lagoon was so nice. When we arrived it was literally just us which was nice but later in the day so many people came. There were rope swings and swings dangling from trees in the lagoons. You could jump from a tree, there were two different levels. The top one was crazily high and when you climbed up the tree you had to be seriously careful as it would have been quite easy to slip off. There was a huge cave if you climbed up the mountain from the lagoon. It was so steep and tiring but definitely worth it.
The picture was on our way back in the tuktuk and we had masses of little children running for our tuktuk and jumping onto it.
The six of us, (girls) we all went and got a nice meal together on a tapas overlooking the river and the amazing view. There for probably 3 hours or more. We headed back and got packed as we are all leaving to go to different places tomorrow. We are heading to Vientiane and the others are getting a bus to Bangkok.
We out to fat monkeys, JDs and then the jungle party. You get a free tuktuk there. Me, Lottr, Imy and Katie and the 4 guys all went. After we went and sat in their hostel on the balcony. Was so strange because when we walked in everyone had masks over there faces. Apparently someone had died but I think it was a cermomy or something for a couple of years ago.
