Monday: The Split

This is another island that used to be one until Hurricane Hattie did its worst in the early 1960s and split it in two.

We had a very relaxing morning on the beach, and reading.  K and I then went out snorkelling this afternoon.  We were taken out on a boat about 10 minutes off the island, and then did an hour’s snorkelling with a guide.  We saw some unbelievably beautiful fish as well as stingrays (Steve Irwin did come to mind, I will confess).  

All very beautiful and wonderfully relaxing.
