Chimneys of Auckland

This one caught my eye. A good bit of brickwork. Reminded me of when I lived near Hampton Court on the Thames. The Palace has fabulous chimneys and did, or maybe does, tours of the roof to inspect them. I joined the Friends of Hampton Court so I could apply to join the tour which was then promptly cancelled on health and safety grounds. Having not renewed my subscription I noticed that the tours were being planned again. Some things are simply never going to happen.
