Duck duck goose

We had sunshine this morning! It was very cold but the forecast was for rain this afternoon so Neil and I went out anyway. First we fed the moorhens and coots, throwing some of the food under low hanging branches to give them a chance to get it before the gulls flew in. Then the goose came over, honking loudly to let us know he was there and he was hungry! The gulls swooped in, the ducks swam over, and the pigeons joined in too, although not in the pond with the other birds!

Just as well we went when we did, because this afternoon was very dark and wet. I'm so glad we got our bit of sunshine and fresh air.
