Affection

In the memoir A long way Gone, Ishmal Beah had receently moved to New York to get away from the life of having been a child soldier. This healthy loving environment has started to effect him in many positive ways. he now has a sense of security and love that he has needed for a long time, but may have never truly realized it. when the affection starts to surround him, he realizes the contrast between his life now and his past.
