The Unknown

In the memoir A Long Way Gone, a former child soldier Ishmael Beah is now living in his new unfamiliar urban environment. His ignorance of the different life style in Newyork was quite unpredictable, and example of this is when he stated, " My conception of New York City came from music. I envisioned it as a place where people shot each other on the street and got away it; no one walked on the streets, rather people drove in their sports cars looking for night clubs and for violence." In this photo, many people are unaware what is being seen, and the symbolism behind it. That is what the unknown is all about.
