Royal Navy Lynx Helicopter XZ736

I heard this fly overhead while in the sporty this afternoon.

The story goes that a Navel vessel is decommissioning and they sent the helicopter off to visit some schools to say goodbye. No idea which boat though, should have done better research I know.

I was fair chuffed to see such a fine aircraft.

Hubby promised me some photos from Orkney but all he sent was Arctic Terns as wee dots on the foreshore. I was hoping for Skara Brae, Maeshowe, Italian Chapel or maybe the odd stone circle, I can see terns here.
