It's aMagpie Jim but not as we know it.

This is an Azure Winged Magpie, what a fab name! and quite common here on the Algarve and around our hotel. They are a tad smaller than their black and white brethren back home but they still have all the thuggish tendencies of bullying and intimidation.

However their calls are more bird like and not the Magpie machine gun noise we get at home.
