Had to take my car to be serviced in Dunfermline today and so took the opportunity to see the Abbey where Robert the Bruce is entombed (allegedly) and William Wallace's mother is buried in the graveyard (allegedly) and they have a beautiful Tiffany stained glass window commissioned by Andrew Carnegie ( an actual indisputable fact!) He had asked the creators to include thistles in the glass but, being American, they didn't know what thistles were and so put rhododendron in instead :)). When I arrived at the Abbey I came upon my near neighbour who is the warden there and so I got a bit of a personal tour.
