Preparing for adventure!

Tomorrow we have a kid free day and my last weekend before I start alternating weekends between Birmingham for work and home again!

I won’t miss the extra days marking and no student interaction but I’m not thrilled about the drive either!

As it’s a final chance for an adventure without holiday being used we have checked the weather, packed our waterproofs and are planning on heading out to the Peak District for a run/walk of approx 20miles.

The new race vest from Mum and Brian will get its first go out, I’ve also packed my trusty Harrier waterproof coat and I will be giving my new innov-8 trainers a proper test on the terrain they were built for after a little successful test along the canal yesterday.

I know tomorrow’s adventure is not a lot of people’s idea of fun, but it sure is mine!
