The way we were

My dear friend Brenda died suddenly this morning.  She is in the middle of this photo and I am on the left (taken about 12 years ago).  Brenda was a life force.  She survived breast cancer and always told us to ‘seize the day’.  And she did!  Everyone loved her.  She was the centre of her family. Four of us went to India a few years ago and she was such fun.  We got the tuk tuk driver to take us to an off license to buy ‘Old Monk’.  She wore her Scottish tee shirt and crocs.  She was a rally driver who loved tractors.  She was a one off!  I’ll miss her so very much.
