72 seasons

10-14 January are described as "The first snowdrops emerge" in the 72 seasons (see www.72seasons.co.uk for more info).  So for the past few days I've been trying to spot snowdrops in the usual places I remember from previous years, without any luck.  I had also planted a few snowdrop bulbs last autumn in a tub outside the back door, and the main blip is the furthest out of these - several more that resemble the extra!

A morning trip to the supermarket, and J wanted to get some bits and pieces so took advantage of being able to park close with his blue badge.  We went our separate ways for the shopping, and then met in Costa for a brew afterwards, which was a whole lot less frustrating than trying to go at each others pace.  

Then a brisk walk across the park and round the loopline - it definitely felt much colder this afternoon.
