Snuggle pup

Seriously never had such a snuggle dog before.

Yeah my spaniels would come under the duvet at night but dachshunds are next level insane they love to snuggle and burrow and all things warm. 

Went out and collected my next order today, was going to take the small thing to decathlon to play with all the things but he decided that he didn't want to come because you know that also meant pet shop, next, etc. Seems to have forgotten Costa often occurs when we go to next, I didn't remind him, left him at home. 

I did go to decathlon as actually no small person meant that I could try on coats. I am trying to find something suitable for on my bike as it's too cold for a fleece jacket but all my coats are clearly not suitable and well I am trying to not just be a fair weather cyclist (I do draw the line at rain, I used to love running in the rain but cycling no, just a hard nope from me). 

I just want a non expensive jacket. I don't need a proper cycling one with the rear pockets and all that jazz plus they don't go big enough for me the brand's that do go big enough are too expensive especially as I am just a casual cyclist I pootle rather than race along. I don't need full waterproof I just need something for the wind chill. I did find one jacket I liked and was firmly in the not expensive category but it had a hood, just not needed. Then the next jacket that I really liked and no hood was well yeah not mega expensive but more than I wanted to spend and then I started over thinking and didn't buy the jacket. 

I think I will go back and get it, the weather next week is looking promising. I should go and and check the battery. 

Almost all the Christmas decorations are now down, just need to do the tree. It was hard because I am in so much pain today and so very stiff. Everything hurts. 

Small one asked if I am better yet because he just wants me to run parkrun with him. I just can't do it. I miss running. My joints are just a mess. He asked if I could be the tail walker again but I don't think I can even walk fast enough at the moment. Maybe I will time myself walking the route and see. I have thought about trying Nordic walking instead, I need to find a how to group locally though. I am happy just being a marshal.
