Glory bee

My first bumblebee of 2023, a beautiful queen on heather in the grounds of our local theatre. She looked cold and wet and was moving so slowly, but she’d gone when I went back a few minutes later.
I’m hoping that this will be a good year for bumble snaps, last year I saw very few bees.
