Looking bare

Today the sun was shining and OH and I decided to do some gardening.  No.1 was awake during the night and got up early so went back to bed for an hour or so while we were in the garden.  Everywhere looks a bit bleak although the bulbs are just starting to poke through.  We cut back last years' growth and did some weeding and tidying up.

MIL and SIL were calling in for a cup of tea and No.2 was coming home for a roast so the afternoon was taken up with food prep and making cups of tea.  I also had a short walk with No.1 who wanted some fresh air and enjoyed the sunshine on her face but we didn't walk too far.  I do hope we can return one day soon to our lovely long walks.

No.2 stayed for an hour or so after dinner and had a go at my tapestry - seemed to get the hang of it but I don't think he would have the time or the patience to finish one?  Like all of us, he is worried about No.1 and gave her lots of hugs and foot rubs!

Another day done.
