Cats

CyclopsJnr was delighted when both cats bundled into his room as soon as he opened the door this morning.  They were very happy to sit on his bed and get stroked.

He had a lovely session at rugby today - some good coaching on tackle technique and he was doing some lovely teamwork in the practice games.  It was a nice day for it too, although he ended up covered in mud.

After lunch we biked to South Queensferry for some dessert at the Railbridge Bistro.  After a 6 mile ride there (with some long hills and some steep hills which he handled magnificently) he deserved his Belgian waffle with chocolate sauce and cream.  He still managed the up-hill bits on the way back too.

The cats seemed delighted to see us when we returned, and when CyclopsJnr got the Scalextric out they were pretty excited to chase the cars, running in circles and even through the loop-the-loop!

He briefly went to his friend's house for a Beyblade battle, then enjoyed fending off the cats while we had grilled salmon for dinner.

He was asleep before his story was finished - I think the combination of excitement and exercise completely wore him out.
