Snow and sun

We were not at all surprised to wake up to a covering of snow as the plummeting temperatures had been forecast. Neither were we surprised that the sun soon melted the snow as it has been a lovely bright sunny day. It is cold, but that is not a problem when there is so much bright sunshine and clear blue skies. A lovely day.
