An excellent morning at Farfield Mill. Three textile exhibitions, beautiful crafters' work on display, lots else to see, as well as the history of the Mill . . . and lunch. 

There is a superb exhibition of art quilting - International Textile Exhibition - with new work from around the world. Some stunning pieces, including this wonderful Firebird. (Look large to see the exquisite fabric placement and stitching.) 


So much to see and admire, such skills and creativity on display but, however many times I visit, I am always taken with the actual building and its history, everywhere to be seen.
