Shaun
I went up to Romena church once The Boss was Fiesole bound. I lit a candle for Shaun, son of a friend struck down by a terrible liver infection. It was his funeral in England today.
The weather has worsened during the day, a strong wind blowing out in the dark night.
An article in La Repubblica mentions there are 60-70 wolves in the National Park of the Casentino Forests, in an area of 36,000 hectares. That’s an area a quarter the size of the Peak District National Park. It’s really wild uninhabited country of steep wooded hills rising to 1600m.
The weather sent shafts of light across our valley back-lighting Poppi in the distance from Romena (extra).
