Sleepy Saturday

Both the Falmouth 1st and 2nd XV rugby matches for today have been called off one, having asked for the kick off to be brought forward, presumably to allow them to stack their 2nd XV with 1st XV players, was then cancelled an hour beforehand.
At least we should get all 5 points.

There’s a sense of disappointment that the gig rowing for tomorrow has also been cancelled but more worrying for those intending to compete there are just fourteen weekends before the IoS Championships. They are not giving themselves much practise time, plus the gig is currently laid up for maintenance which hasn’t yet started.

Having spent five to ten minutes chasing Paddy round the kitchen attempting to get his harness on for his walk without succeeding I guessed he wasn’t interested, given the weather I could see why.
Instead I got the evening curry sorted out early, and settled down with my book.

There’s a lot I could have done at home for an hour or two on behalf of the RNA, EPIC, FRFC or RBL but in the spirit of New Years Resolution #6, nothing over the weekend.

Paddy looks like he enjoyed his day.
