Joy Nightingale

A lovely invitation this evening - from my uncle Bruce to come and stay in my granny's old house in Totnes, Devon. I have wonderful memories of childhood holidays there, and it's been too long since my last visit.

In the meantime, I do have a copy of this super book, a result of my brother's invention and mother's persistence.

And here she is, 'potty granny' in action - just as I like to remember her. I'm looking forward to the trip.
