Stretch Of The Legs

With Mrs S back to work and Sam out and about it seemed a good day for Paddy and Mick to extend their daily walk distance. The walk we did today we have done several times but Paddy has always been on the lead the whole time, today we tried something different.
First third, mainly along busy roads, on the leash.
Second third, around the castle moat, wooded and open terrain, off the leash.
Last third, home along back roads and service lanes, intermittently on and off the leash.
He was so well behaved, we are both tired but feel better for that seven miler!

Todays main photo, as we walked past I was struck by the central vertical ladder leading from a walkway above the bow up to the flight deck, that’s not a ladder I would want to climb in any sort of heavy sea or high wind.
