Peace River

Kayaked a section of the Peace River.  Ron arranged a shuttle, so it was a lovely float.  We found a small "island" where I went bonkers photographing plants.  Found a wetland nightshade blossoming and didn't even see this little Calligrapher (hover fly) until I downloaded my photos.  So tiny!  It has to be my blip today because this whole lovely trip to south Florida has been one unexpected adventure after another.  Feeling so blessed by my wonderful friends who have hosted me down here.
The extra is Ron hunting for the big gators this river is famous for.  It is one sandy beach after another....ah.
