Unique?
We're grabbing the opportunity of the relatively quiet season to get on with a number of jobs and things that niggle us (but that guests probably don't notice).
The bigger job is decorating the 'kitchen corridor' - a passageway that leads to the kitchen mainly. Of the various preamble jobs is to remove the old gas pipe.
I lost count how many times I checked that this really was the OLD, disconnected, gas pipe before I cut into it.
Unexpectedly it seemed to T off into a wall with no pipe emerging on the other side.
Anyway, I managed to isolate this section and lo and behold - it wasn't a T junction but that some bright spark had fitted an isolation valve - with the tap embedded in the wall.
Only at the Dell House.
