Rising Water

A beautiful day on the River Mourne. Saw a kingfisher in the morning and rain showers and sun kept things fresh.

Dave caught a lovely 6lb spring salmon in the morning after poaching the bottom of the pool that I was fishing, but I didn't moan too much about it. That fish was mine though Dave....

This is the rock with river levels marked on it so you know the height of water and can see if it is rising or falling (very important if you are looking for salmons who are quite particular about the river levels).
